Learn to knit the beautiful Optic Blanket pattern by Purl Soho! This lovely afghan works well in various shades of Noro yarn & a solid white (shop sample is Noro Silk Garden and Malabrigo Rios), but also looks lovely in solid colours. This pattern is done in individual squares worked from the outside in, and each square is picked up from previous squares. The class will cover how to get started working in the round, work the centered double decrease, and how to pick up along the edge for the next square.
Materials: aran weight wool in 2 colours (for the whole blanket you will need 9 balls Noro Silk Garden and 6 skeins of Malabrigo Rios or equivalent), 5mm needles for working in the round, we suggest a 16" circular and DPNs but bring a 24" as well if you have it and a 32" if you would prefer to do magic loop.
