This class is for absolute beginners who want to learn how to crochet, or if you've learned before but want a refresher of the basics. We will cover the basic stitches of crochet, including chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. We will create a sampler in the class so that you can take those skill forward into your first project. We will also discuss how to hold the hook, crochet terminology, how to seam the work and how to read a pattern.
Required materials: 1 ball of Coastline, a 5mm crochet hook, and a darning needle.
We recommend working with light/bright colour yarn in class so that it is easy to see the stitches clearly.
