Beginner Brioche

Class Overview:

Brioche knitting is the current “it knit” and you can do it, too! Brioche knitting is easier in the round than flat, and even easier with two colors rather than one. We’ll learn basic brioche rib, and then use it to create wrist warmers or a cowl

Prerequisites:

To get the most benefit from this class you should be able to cast on, do knit and purl stitches eg. K1P1 ribbing and be able to knit in the round.  If you are able to do magic loop you can attempt the wrist warmers. If you are less confident, then the cowl would be a better first project.

Homework:

You need to decide if you want to do a small project, wrist warmers or a larger cowl project and do the homework accordingly.  Choose One light colored and one dark colored fingering to double knit weight (brioche is knit with two strands so anything you knit will come out double the thickness).
