Pattern: Dagmar by Handy Kitty Size: L (107cm chest) Yarn: Malabrigo Rios in Tranquilo 6 skeins Needles: 5mm 32" circular, 4.5mm 16" & 32" circulars Notes: These notes are very detailed, just to make a few things in this pattern a little more straight forward for beginners. Experienced pattern readers and sweater knitters can absolutely just dive in and knit without issue. I love this sweater! It is comfortable, warm and soft. At that time my LYS was a small shop in Brunswick, ME called The Knitting Experience, and it was run by a lovely woman named Chesley. I base a lot of my guiding philosophy at Passionknit on how she ran her shop. WWCD, what would Chesley do? She was always warm, friendly and welcoming. We received a delivery this week of a brand new yarn for us: Ancient Arts Reinvent. It is stunning, and its arrival just before knit night created a bit of a feeding frenzy! The colours in this yarn are stunning, and the names for them are half the fun. Names like Lookin' fine in my new blue jeans, A road less travelled, and Syrah by moonlight give the yarn so much more character. Several skeins have already found new homes, including a skein of Scottish Mist that made its way into my knitting bag, though I still haven't decided What to do with it, socks, shawl or other? If you have any suggestions let me know in the comments!...
